Public Access UNIX site in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.

BTR provides its users with Public Access UNIX accounts, with a BTR
user account you get:

  * The complete UNIX environment (we run SunOS)
  * Electronic mail.  So others can send e-mail to you via
    you@btr.com or ..!btr!you
  * Full shell access (sh, csh, ksh). vi, emacs, xmodem, zmodem, etc.
  * USENET (aka netnews), we carry a full news feed.
  * 24 hours, every day, unlimited access time.
  * Popular games and source archives on-line.
  * Low flat monthly rate ($10 per month for a personal BTR user
    account), unlimited access.

UUCP accounts are available for connecting directly with your computer.

BTR is located in Mountain View, California, in the heart of Silicon
Valley, San Francisco Bay Area.  You can reach BTR via:

You can reach BTR via Telenet's PC Pursuit (CAPAL) if you are not in the
San Francisco Bay Area. (You can find out more about PC Pursuit by calling
them at 800-835-3638.  Basically, they charge $30/month for 30 hours
of non-prime time usage.)
