I read in last Sunday's SF Examiner that Businessland is planning a massive auction of all their excess inventory and overstocked items. I talked to the auction company and they told me that there should be over 500 CPU's and 500 printers (both laser and dot-matrix) going on the block for sale to the highest bidder. More unusual for an auction, many of the items are nearly new and will have a 30 day warranty. Plus, they'll be taking credit cards. Sounds like an event too good to be true. Businessland carries IBM, MAC, NCR, Compaq, Wyse, HP, Epson and a few others. They used to carry Next and there's even supposed to be a few Next systems thrown in, too.
