East Coast College Championships - Suny Purchase, NY.

This spring the colleges on the east coast had there own championship
series. It was topped off with a East Coast Championship tournament at
Suny Purchase. The top 8 teams from the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions
were invited after qualifing in their respective College Regionals. The
top 4 teams from this tournament were then invited to the East Coast Open
Championships at Amherst, MA. For the first time on the east coast were the
colleges allowed to play just between themselves.
Many thanks to Andy Bornstein for putting together the whole College
Championship Series. He plans in the spring of 84 to have a National
College Championship Series. I'll keep you informed colleges.
Here's the outcome of the tourny:
1 - Zoo Disc (U. Mass.) 5 - Albany State
2 - Glassboro State* 6 - Suny Purchase
3 - Tufts 7 - Univ. Vermont
4 - Wesleyan 8 - Boston Univ.
* Glassboro could not attend the Easterns, so Albany was invited as fourth.
