I've heard some rumours of AMF and others making discs which are as good, if not better than Frisbees especially for Frisbee Golf. I throw a HDX-80 and like it a lot, but I dream of a 200+gm. disc for those long drives from tee. Anyone out there have one, or know about them? Let's hear about it! Let's get some life into this newsgroup! Keep 'em flyin', Mark "Amazing" Paulin

Concerning the heavier disc query: yes, discs that are heavier that 165's *are* made - they're called trashcan lids. Two styles to choose from: metal (for guts), and plastic (equiv to a one-wood). Ultimate play with this type of disc is not recommended - it seems you can't stop in the required distance once you've caught it. caught it, and the torque has a tendency to rip your arms off. horizontally, jim boggs Tektronix, Committed
