July 7, 1984 Wham-o will be in Portland Oregon at Waterfront Park. Presenting the 1984 Hacky Sack and Frisbee Festival. The Festival is scheduled to be a fun, outdoor, family orientated event. It will feature demonstrations and FREE "how to" instructions for the public. The demonstrations ny world champions will display a full range of Hacky Sack footbag and frisbee disc skills, to include ultimate and freestyle. The free instruction will be provided by hundreds of enthusiasts who will travel to our city to volunteer their time and services for the day. The 84 Festival Series (held in twenty-five top cities in the USA) is patterened after the successful Smithsonian Frisbee Festival help each year by the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C..
