( )( )( ) the world disc golf championships were held last week in rochester, ny. fantastically long course! the longest hole was 200 yards! had a great time there. everything went smoothly and started right on time (unlike most tournaments). the kid who won was 17, from california and won it going away! he didn't even receive an invitation to compete (because he was not a member of the PDGA before this), he just showed up hoping that there would be openings to play, because of no-shows from those far away. he showed up, got his chance and blew everyone away! he won by 5 or 6 strokes. his name was Sam (forgot his last name). you'll be hearing more of him if you follow disc news much. don't even ask how i did. next year will be my year! *frisbee players do it in the air... have fun all... dave hesselberth the Druid of NC decvax!mcnc!ncsu!rdr (put my name in Subject line if you mail; not my account) *frisbee is a registered trademark of Wham-O
