I am looking for troff macros (preferably a modification of the ms macros) that support multicolumn pages which can revert to single column in the middle of a page. The multiple columns should be adjusted to the same length. There is a macro package from Bell called mcp that supports this feature. However, mcp is not supported by Bell and has never been documented. Also from Bell are the packages msoft and mjacm that also support the above feature. The msoft and mjacm packages are also not supported or documented. All these packages from Bell have some additional useful macros for placing figures at specified positions on a page. Is there anybody out there using the above mentioned packages from Bell ? Is there any informal documentation available ?
