There is a paper which I keep in my file of "Useful and Interesting Unix Documents" called "Writing NROFF Terminal Descriptions" written by Eric Allman (of sendmail fame). It is a complete guide to the mysteries of writing these descriptions. This is only for nroff; troff is a whole new ball of wax. The biggest problem here is that nroff doesn't let you take advantage of daisy wheel printers with proportionally spaced wheels. Yuo need to hack troff to do that. THe document does its job. I wrote a description for the DEC LQP02 using Eric's guide. No, I can't send it to you. I only have a paper copy. -- From the Tardis of Mark Callow msc@qubix.UUCP, decwrl!qubix!msc@Berkeley.ARPA ...{decvax,ucbvax,ihnp4}!decwrl!qubix!msc, ...{ittvax,amd70}!qubix!msc
