[net.misc] Donations for a new Space Shuttle

References:

It seems that NASA is accepting donations for a new Space Shuttle.
The contributions are not tax-deductible, but this is one form of
support for the Space Program that the politicians cannot ignore!
2 billion dollars are needed. Send your contributions to:
	N.A.S.A.
	Att. BF
	Washington D.C. 20546

For those who travel on land, on water, or in the air or
through outer space, let us pray to the Lord.

	"Lord, have mercy."
	[...]

(of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America).

A Washington Post Columnist quoted a NASA spokesperson the other day saying
that although any contributions now received by NASA will probably be used
80% for a new shuttle, NASA is by law only able to accept contributions to
the space agency in general and not to any specific project. (For the
grammarians out there, I do realize the middle of that sentence is not quite
right.)
