Mention of the new Japanese currency that will not copy well on photocopiers made me remember a new product announcement (in Newsweek, I think) about a type of paper that would not copy well. It was intended to discourage copying of secret documents for example. Does anybody know that the status of this product is now (in production, cost, etc)? Just curious. It occurred to me that one possible way of discouraging software piracy would be to release the computer media unprotected but print the manuals on this type of paper. (Wouldn't work for Pacman games though). Please reply by netmail. If I get enough replies I will summarize to the net. Thanks in advance. -- Ken Yap UUCP: (..!{allegra, decvax, seismo}!rochester!ken) ARPA: ken@rochester.arpa USnail: Ken Yap, Dept. of Comp. Sci, U. of Rochester, NY 14627.
