<> Does anybody know of the existance or have a copy of a program that could preview neqn|nroff output on a Sun workstation? Since we do not have access to a laser printer that recognizes eqn, we use neqn|nroff on either a Diablo (ecs) or a Qume Twin-Track. These are both daisywheel-type printers with an extended character set for mathematical and Greek symbols. It would save many hassles if the output to these printers could originally be previewed on the Sun's console. I realize piping the output through colcrt|more is one possible solution. However I believe this method fails to take advantage of the bit-mapped screen. In other words, is there a way of checking to see if the math characters appear as they are supposed to as well as the superscripts and subscripts? I guess this entails a program to draw greek characters and math symbols on the Sun. Also, I know there is a program called dsun for previewing ditroff output on the Sun. Is there a version of this program that will preview nroff output? That is, can ditroff be made to produce non-proportionally-spaced output that matches what we print on a Diablo or a Qume?
