I've been having troublie with italics that don't show up where they're supposed to. I am using LaTeX with an Imagen 8/300 laser printer. The problem arises when making slides using the \LARGE font size in LaTeX. I get the italics in one instance, but subsequent instances are printed in roman. One detail -- The font file I'm using for amti10.r17 is derived from a pxl file obtained from University of Washington (using the pxltorst utility) and it's not quite large enough for a 17 point font, provoking a warning from dviimp, but so far as I can tell dviimp goes ahead and uses it anyway.
