In an earlier posting I asked for help with a problem: the floating keep in the -ms macro package causes an unwanted break. I looked also at the situation where the keep actually does float. In that case, a break occurs at the point the keep was invoked, but not where the keep actually prints. Example Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah (page boundary) (a very nice display in the middle of a paragraph with no break) blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah .KF was invoked after the second line of "blahs", and causes a break there, even though the display is output on the second page. (with no break, incidentally). Weird, weird, weird. -- Carl {decvax, ucbvax, ihnp4}!tektronix!carlc Slugbusters, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Bendemeer Slug Ranch Hillsboro, Oregon
