(Gee, he needs even more help...) Does anyone have a list of character descriptions for some of the weirder characters available? Here is the problem: One of our yet-to-be-installed special fonts (CMATHX) from Imagen is a math extension set which some instructors here would like to use. I can see what the charset looks like because Imagen provides a compiled sample page. Unfortunately, they did not give us a character map table along with the raster files. I could build one by hand, but I don't know what kind of special names to give these guys. For example, "\(sq" is the name for the square root symbol. This character set, however, has quite a few that aren't in the troff manual. There are five different kinds of radical symbols, two sigmas, some integral symbols with little circles in the middle (I don't know what they are for), ovals, and even something that looks like a little sign with a wavy line in it. So, does anybody have a neat file with these kind of descriptions in them? Or failing that, is there a way to call up an absolute character number with ditroff? Like if I wanted 122 in my charmap table could I do it? I've pored over the manual and can't seem to find anything. The alternative I'm looking at is to invent new names for these characters and hope they don't break anything (yuk). Is there a better way?
