:-) The recent rumor that Rep. Robert Dornan, R-Calif wants to emigrate to the Soviet Union is given backing by today's (2/28/86) issue of USA Today (I didn't buy it, honest guv, it was just lying there on the table...). Quoted amongst others is Patrick Buchanan, White House Communications Director, the topic is a commentry on Reagan's defense speech by Vladimir Posner, Soviet commentator. Buchanan: Would ABC have rebutted Winston Churchill with "some functionary for the Third Reich?" => The Soviet Union is comparable with the Third Reich. Dornan: called Posner a "disloyal, betraying little Jew" => Dornan would like to be (is?) a functionary for the Third Reich. There can be only two possible conclusions. a) Dornan wants to emigrate to the Soviet Union (ie the Third Reich revisited). b) Dornan thinks that the U.S.A. is the Third Reich revisited. What do you think? Should Dornan be allowed to leave, or should he be assigned medical/psychiatric "treatment" for his problem? :-)) All replies to net.audio
