This is note is to announce the availability of a report entitled
"Adventures with Typesetter Independent Troff" from the U. of Rochester
CS Dept. The report, which is an extension of our paper at the Salt
Lake Usenix, describes out experiences with adapting TI-Troff for use
with two output devices: a Xerox Press laser printer and the Compugraphics
7700. Although the report covers these two specific devices, the approaches
we took are applicable to a wide variety of devices. Also of general
interest are our discussions of the bugs in Troff and the meaning of
special characters.
Unfortuately, our Dept. has had to start charging for technical reports.
The cost of this report is US $1.25 . To order electronically, send a
