"A Practical Guide to the UNIX System" by Mark Sobell
       (Benjamin Cummings)

I was able to find about four of these books. The following is my
evaluation of what I found.

For nroff ONLY, the following are good:
A Practical Guide to the UNIX System
     UNIX for People
     Introducing the UNIX System
     The UNIX System

For troff, the only good one I found was:
     The UNIX System

I couldn't find a copy of Word Processing on the UNIX System. And I
have a copy of the Document Processing Guide ordered, but it hasn't
arrived yet. I figured getting it straight from the horse's mouth (so
to speak) was the best way to go.

I also bought The UNIX System, which has already been of great benefit
to me.

Hope this helps some of the rest of you out there struggling along
with the NROFF/TROFF manual. I did find that after reading some of
the rest of these, the manual started to make more sense. Once I got
oriented to it, that is.
