There are 2 font editors I know of. They are fed (comes with unix) which is described in the man pages and an imcomplete font editor that imagen is distributing with their software for the 300 dots/inch printers. If anyone knows of any other font editors (or if imagen has completed theirs) I would like to know. -- ED C UUCP: ...!{ utzoo,decvax,ihnp4,allegra}!watmath!echrzanowski ARPA: echrzanowski%watmath%waterloo.csnet@csnet-relay.arpa CSNET: echrzanowski%watmath@waterloo.CSNET

It allows editing fonts of any size - (limited to window size), and has features like mirror, move, and copy region. This allows, for example creating half of the letter A, and then mirroring the image to complete the character. The IS VME systems currently have fonts with 17 planes each of 96 character. The font editor does not currently work on standard UNIX fonts, but I'm sure it could be modified. David Childs
