The AT&T-BL Holiday Travel Club is sponsoring a mystery weekend, May 16-18, 1986, at the Westin Hotel, Stamford, Conn. The theme is a Philip Marlowe story set New Year's Eve, 1940, in Pasadena, at a pre-Rose Bowl game celebration. A "murder" takes place, and the participants are supposed to try to solve the "crime". All participants will be advised their roles prior to the weekend. Teams will be led by noted mystery authors. The fee is $190 per person, double occupancy, and includes: .2 nights accomodations at this luxury hotel .Friday evening cocktail reception .Friday night mystery film .Saturday morning breakfast .Saturday gala half-time tea .Saturday night Masquerade Ball .Sunday sumptuous brunch .Prizes for Best Costumes and for winning Sleuths .Awards for all players 1940's attire is suggested. For those who do not wish to participate, the hotel offers an indoor pool, fitness center, 2 lighted tennis courts, and a jogging track.
