[net.text] Bibliographic database managers

I am looking for information on products for managing bibliographic
databases.  At this stage, I would appreciate any and all types of 
information, including product literature from vendors.  Of course,
when I have something to report I will post a summary.

Right now we are using "biblio", so any potential replacement must
provide at least an equivalent level of functionality.  Some of the
other things we would like are:

	1.  Provide for more than one person updating the database
	    at one time.

	2.  No "hardwired" assumptions about the text processing
	    software that will be used to format the references.

	3.  Efficient keyword searches against the database.

	4.  Support for multiple formats.

	5.  Either good vendor support or source code at a 
	    reasonable price.
