Does anyone out in net.land have a Canon LBP-8A2 Laser Printer?
We just bought three of them, and have not been able to access
any of the fonts we've been trying to download. If anyone has
been able to decipher the manual and access downloaded fonts,
PLEASE get in touch with me!
Let it be noted that I've called Canon's Phone Support number in NY.
It leaves a lot to be desired as well -- it's an answering machine
that promises to call back, but, after leaving my name/number numerous
times, they still haven't. The local Canon office just gives us the
phone number in NY.
The printer itself seems to be of good quality, and it's not too
expensive, but it's also not very useful if we can't download our
own fonts. Because of the poor documentation and non-existent
support, I would advise anyone thinking about buying one to find
another vendor.
