*** STANDARD LINE-EATER OFFERING *** I am going to write an interface between an in-house database format and Lotus 1-2-3 worksheets. In order to do this, I need to know how worksheets are structured. Does anyone out there 1) know of a book or article that describes this format (I have already scanned most of the zillion "how to" 1-2-3 books and found them to really untechnical) 2) know the format off-hand and could describe it to me, or at least give me a clue or several how to go about deriving this format 3) know how Lotus feels about such things? I have written to them to ask how they feel about such things, and I asked if they have compatible vendor's guide, but have received no response. 1-2-3 is a trademark of the Lotus Development Corporation. Whoopee. Thanks in advance for your time. If anyone has suggestions about a more appropriate newsgroup to post to, I would appreciate that too. -- BFH the one and only. I may be incorrigable, but I'm arrogant too. yale!brendan irisco!brendan (I have no idea what a good, general path to yale is....)
