[btl.micro] Kaypro II as UNIX terminal

5121cal@hou2d.UUCP (12/13/83)

I have a Kaypro II and I would like to use it as a terminal
with a UNIX system. I have several modem programs (MODEM7,
MODEMPAT, and KMDM795) which allow me to configure it as a terminal;
however, when I log in to the UNIX system, I get garbage characters
(commas, Greek letters, and incorrect characters) interspersed
with my data. I'm using a WECO 212A data set, which works
fine with my LS ADM-3A terminal (as well as other terminal types).
Does anyone have any experience with using the Kaypro as a terminal?
Does the problem sound like hardware or software? Any advice
would be greatly appreciated.
