[net.crypt] Decipher, Inc. puzzle

Does anyone know anything about a puzzle published by Decipher, Inc.?
Someone gave it to me for Christmas: it's a cipher (a bunch of numbers,
each number representing a letter). The company's literature says that
there is a $100,000 prize for whoever solves the puzzle by March 1, 1984;
the prize will apparently be split equally in the case of multiple solutions.

Are they for real? Has anyone solved it?

Yes, the game's for real. Only a couple dozen "solutions" have been returned,
reportedly. No knowledge on whether or not it's been solved yet. Even so,
$100000 split 100 ways is $1000 each. Does anyone know where to buy it? I've
been looking all over Chicago area department and stationery stores but haven't
seen it yet.  Anyone know?
