1. Look. The story about Albert Hall's cryptogram is one thing, but breaking it is another. Does anyone have any reasons based on study of the 'od' output for thinking that the cryptogram is a fake? Has anyone tried to actually break it? I have, and couldn't. 2. I heard from a friend of a friend that Bert Hall is actually the brother of the famous Indy Hall (of Cheltenham), who is spending the year in central Maryland in some kind of exchange program. Great things are expected of his p-adic PDE solver, but I'm not so sure. 3. Can we put a stop to this kind of non technical drivel in this group, and send it to places like net.arch or net.lang.c where it belongs? 4. Elizabeth Bimmler, where are you in our hour of need?
