In the book "The Empire Strikes Back" the relation of the characters
is explained. It says that when Anakin/Darth had the twins Luke and
Leia, he was afraid that the Emperor would find out about them (since
they would be a threat to the Empire). So Anakin had his teacher
Obi-Wan take the kids and hide them. Obi-Wan took Leia to Senator
Organa on Alderaan. Luke was taken to Owen Lars (Obi's brother)
on Tatooine. The Organa's adopted Leia and the Lars' adopted Luke.
Really simple, isn't it?

If Anakin had had Obi-Wan take the children, then what was his confusion as Vader in Return of the Jedi? Specifically, when Luke is hiding in the shadows aboard the new Death Star, and Vader is stalking him?
