I have a cartridge (ROM) FORTH system for the C64 that I would
like to place in and operate from the RAM that underlies the cartridge
- I want to patch the existing stuff to do some funny things to the
system. I can copy the ROMs to disk and from there to the RAM. But I
have yet to be able to (warm or cold) start up the computer so as to
get the RAM program to run successfully. If you have a method of doing
this, or know what I have to patch to get it to do this, I would be very
grateful if you would let me in on the secret(s).
Note: I'm NOT trying to steal this software. I bought the
cartridge and I believe I'm within my rights to copy it from
ROM to RAM. Neither am I going to hand out copies. The cartridge
is too cheap to steal, anyway.
