[net.micro.cbm] Apple emulator for the C64??

Does anyone have any information on the Apple emulation
that was supposed to be released for the C64??  Is it
possible that we will ever see it?  I would appreciate
hearing of any rumors, facts, etc.  Also, what was the
name of the company that was planning to do it - as I
remember it was not from Commodore.
