I have recently purchased a C-64 with a 1701 monitor and
a 1541 disk drive. I would greatly appreciate any programs,
utilities, info, or general hints for this machine.
I would also appreciate a copy of a memory map for this machine
which includes all the entry points for the various machine language
subroutines in the BASIC interpreter and OS and their input and output
parameters etc.
Is there a machine language monitor available for the C-64 and if so
where can I get a copy of it or buy it as I can't seem to find one.
I have a LOT of utilities and games programs for the Commodore PET
(model 4032), many of which are in machine language but as soon as
I can I will convert them (if possible!) and post a list to the net
but I need an assembler and a disassembler and again can't seem to find
one anywhere.
I would also appreciate any info regarding where I can buy an 8 pin DIN
plug and cable for use with the 1701 monitor. At the moment I am using
a 5 pin DIN plug and although the picture quality is good, I have heard
that the 8 pin version gives extremely good quality and resolution.
