I read a review of the EOA music construction set in net.micro, and i can't reach the author by Email. I have the music const. set, and i also love it, but i have the same problem of some 'instruments' not playing, and others sounding strange. My local commodore dealer claims to have no knowledge of any problems with the old c64 ... but then my local dealer has no knowledge. Does anyone out there know: 1) What problems Steve referred to in his article, apparently bugs in the old c64's that affect SID access/use? 2) Any other bugs in old c64's? 3) What differences there are in the new ones? 4) Why there are eight pins now? 5) Is there a new video chip in the new c64's, or is it just being used differently? thanx.
