[net.micro.cbm] 1702 Monitor

stu@allegra.UUCP (Stu Brown) (02/23/84)

The 1701 monitor is advertised at $199. The 1702
is no less than $249. Is the difference significant
enough to spend the extra?

It all depends what "version" of C64 you have. If you
the newest eight pin video connector you will want to
get the 1702, (which is supplied with an 8 pin cable).

If you have an older 64, use the 1701. If you want to
use the 1702 with an older 64, you will have to purchase
a five pin video cable.
