I have recently acquired a disc copy of a BBS terminal emulator, with upload and download capability, written in BASIC by Steve Punter and updated for the C64 by Keith Petersen. My copy is called TERMINAL.64. The second or third line of the program loads a machine language file referred to as TERM.64. Unfortunately, I don't have TERM.64. I suspect that this file is a modified version of the terminal emulator program supplied by CBM with their modem, but I'm not sure. Can anyone enlighten and/or suppy me with TERM.64? I will happily send an addressed and stamped disc mailer. Re: C64 Reset A ground on pin 3 of the user port will indeed force a cold start. However, I have run across a number of programs (e.g., EASYSCRIPT) which, when loaded and followed by a ground on pin 3, causes the computer to reset to the beginning of the program, rather than to cold start. Anyone know what is happening here? Please reply by mail and I will summarize to the net.
