I've been using Speedscript regularly without experiencing any problems
with the RUN/STOP key for paragraphing. My first impression is that you
might be running a "V1.0" Commodore 64. Seems that the early 64's have
problem with some of the software that has been appearing, like Simon's
Basic. A similar situation may be happening with your Speedscript. Perhaps
there are other thoughts on the subject from the net. My only problem
with Speedscript has been the RIGHT MARGIN command. Seems to lock up my
computer. I think I traced it to be an esc sequence that normally "shuts
down" the Epson printer. Other than that, no complaints. Look for a
question and answer session with the Speedscript author in the May issue of
Compute's Gazette magazine. That might shead some light on your problem.
