Tried Speedscript from the January issue of Compute's Gazette and it worked well until time to quit. Short of pulling the plug, HOW DO YOU EXIT THE PROGRAM????? Granted it was late and I may have missed something in the article. If it was in the article please reply by mail. If not perhaps others would like to know too. Jay Gwatkin ittvax!ittral!gwatkin

To exit Speedscript, move the cursor somewhere it won't do any damage such as the end of your text. Hold the RUN/STOP key down, and as it tabs across the screen, give RESTORE a good jab. Be warned, however, that should you run Speedscript again, it will not acknowledge that you have any text in memory, so save any text you want to keep before exiting.
