[net.micro.cbm] C-64 user port

I'm trying to interface a Gemini 10X printer to my 64 via the
users buss. The parallel port contains the eight data leads
but I'm having a little trouble finding the strobe or clock
lead. The Programmer's Manual doesn't seem to be any help here.
Any suggestions ? Does anyone know of a good book on C-64
interfacing and hardware? I'm lost but I'll be okay as soon as
I find the light switch......

Bill, the use of the parallel port for printer control is
easy. Use PB0-PB7 for data and CB1 and CB2 leads for strobe
and ready line. The printer driver routines are a bit more
tricky than Commodore leads you to believe, though.
