I am lucky in that I have an Atari and Action! (I hate that '!' in
the name.) Action! is being sold by OSS (Optimized Systems Software) Inc.
in San Jose, Calif. I droped by their offices to buy some other software
of thiers recently. While I was there, I asked them when Action! would be
available for the C64. As of now it is only available for the Atari's!
They plan to to do a version for other machines starting with the C64.
But!, first they are working on an 'OS' for the C64. I assume that this
is simular to their DOS XL for the Ataris. After the OS is done, then
they will do the C64 Action!.
Considering the above and the fact that they are a small company,
I would not expect to see C64 Action! before late next year. Most
likely it will take longer than that. All of this information is based
on my conversatin with them, and any of it may change.
