I don't know if anything has been posted on the
CM-FS2 "FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2 or not. But, after playing around
with it for several days (many hours) I would highly recommend
it. Locally it sells for $50 but have seen it advertised in the
GAZZETT for $40. It comes complete with "two manuals" 90 pages
each with attractive covers and very professionaly done. One
manual explains the controls and use of the program and the
second gives a basic course on aerodynamics and flying. I am
NOT a pilot and the number of crashes I have successfully
accomlished, maybe it's good I'm not. It really gives you the
feeling of flying a plane with Maps of "4" geographical locations,
including ATIS, VOR, and ADF frequencies that you tune your radios
to for navigation and weather information.

There are too many features to mention but the following is a short
summary:

KEYBOARD CONTROLS- flaps,elavators,ailerons,rudder,brakes,throttle
radar, views(front, side, down and diagonals),radar,3D,radio
	freqs.,carb heat,fuel tank select,edit and many more.
JOYSTICK- basic fligt controls (good to start with keyboard first)

You can save many flight parameters on a disk and try again later,
fly to distant airports (some Airports are too far away since it
is close to real time flying at 140 knots) but, there are shortcuts.

Last but not least there is a 1917 plane option with WAR games. This
is very frustrating to me as I'm used to quick game responses. This
bi-wing responds slow and the enemy is hard to shoot down without
going into a roll or dive (CRASH). Wheather you are a pilot or would
like to be one or like me, like to learn about flying and survive
crashes, this one is worth the price. A little is to be desired on
the 3-D ground display but with all 64K being used it is quite
adequate.
