I noticed in my most recent copy of the Jafco catalog (some of you may know then as LaBell's) that - there in the home electronics and computer section - they carry what appears from the description to be a pretty decen printer for the Commodore 64. It's priced at around $240, claims to run at 120 cps, and to do normal, wide, compressed, sub- and super-scripts and (I think) emphasized too. AND it is alleged to be directly plug-inn-able to the C64. So here's the (Commmodore) 64-dollar question: has anyone seen/felt/tried/bought one of these goodies? Is it as good as the catalog claims? Lord knows our local Jafco salespeople wouldn't know a printer from a punch-bowl so they're of no use. Let me know if you've heard anything about this beastie... keith ericson at teklabs decvax!tektronix!teklabs!keithe or ucbvax!tektronix!teklabs!keithe among many, many possibilities
