[net.micro.cbm] c64

I've been working on a "black box" that hangs out the back end of my c64 expan-
sion port for quite some time. The problem is, the local Commodore shop never
seems to have a supply of CIA (6526) chips in stock, and it often takes several
months for them to get a shipment. I *need* these chips to interface my pro-
ject. Does anyone know of a mail order firm which could supply this? Thanks
for the help.

Ditto. My '64 has a CIA with a slight glitch, which I get around by
swapping the CIAs around (either the joystick doesn't work, or the modem
won't work on long distance, depending upon where I put the bad chip).
I would also appreciate addresses of places to buy them, either
mail-order or Seattle local (Tech-Star won't sell the chips; they want
to "install" them, too...)
