[net.micro.cbm] Supplementing a silent monitor with a speaker

mower@sunybcs.UUCP (James E. Mower) (02/25/85)

I am using a Sakata SA-1000 monitor with my C-64. The monitor does not have
a built-in speaker. Does anyone know how I might be able to add a
speaker onto the system? Thanks.

One rather simple way would be to plug the AUDIO OUT plug
into the INPUT jack of a stereo system.

Adding a speaker: Archer (Radio Shack) has a miniamp-speaker that is
easily driven by the audio-output with a homemade cord.

PS mail didn't go through so had to post.
