I am looking for a basic compiler for the C64 and I need some help. I have only found two compilers so far, Blitz! and Petspeed. Does anybody know of any others? I just purchased Blitz! and I wish I hadn't. It isn't very good. In fact it's down right poor. I haven't been able to locate Petspeed anywhere. Can anybody clue me in as to where I might find it? The two main reasons are compile time/convinence, features and most especialy the fact that Blitz converts all interger variables to intergers. (PetSpeed converts integer to Float; does the calculations; then converts back.) Blitz programs come out shorter also... PetSpeed is no longer being sold... call up some software stores that have gone out of the commodore business they may have it on some back shelf. Maybe you should look into public domain PROMAL............
