I'm posting this for my father who owns a Commodore 64: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm planning to buy a disk drive soon. Any recommendations, as far as brand or things to look for? Please share any experiences you may have with the drives that you have purchased. I'm also looking for a good spreadsheet package to use for tracking stocks and summarizing their status. I want a straight-forward user interface, that provides various graphical summaries, and a basic query capability. The types of data I want this package to be able to quickly provide are the following: 1) Graph a particular stock's performance for the past 3 months, & for the past year. 2) Graph a group of stocks' performances for the past 3 months, & for the past year. 3) Various type of graphical styles are preferred (e.g., bar graph, line graph), but not required. 4) I want a novice to be able to enter all data. 5) I'd like to be able to smooth data in a couple different ways. If anyone has used such a package, and knows of other features that you find very valuable, please let me know!
