[net.micro.cbm] Commodore's Enigma ..er ah.. Amiga

scottm@cavell.UUCP (Scott McPhee) (06/03/85)

Here's the *real* beef:

o 512K RAM, expandable 1 MEG
o 68020 at 12.5 MHz (the OS uses supervisor state)
o Sony type 3 1/2" drives, 400K formatted
o RS232, Commodore Serial, IEEE, Expansion Bus, Game ports, MIDI interface
o silent cooling fan
o low profile keyboard
o rack and pinion steering w/MacPherson strutts
o intercooled turbo charging with new blowback waste gate
o Alpine stereo standard
o 0-60 in 4.5 sec. (Road and Track)
o etc..

Face it folks, vaporware is vapor where? There is no such thing as
a Commodore Amiga. No specifications exist. People who are sworn to
secrecy are at least honest--they don't know anything!
my advice: sell yourself only on something that exists. Buy a Mac.
