WARNING: This has nothing to do with the amiga... Some time ago I saw a set of articles in this news group about a EPROM based fast loader program. Replacing the kernal in the Commodore 64 and the DOS in the 1541 disk drive with these new EPROMs were to increase the disk transfer rate by several times. I believe there was also the addition of a parallel interface between the computer and the disk drive. did anyone keep those articles? If so, I would appreciate those of you who were wise enough to send me a copy. Also, anyone who want's to put in their two cents about what software will or will not run with this product are welcome to respond. If there are enough responses, I will summarize and post them on the net. Actually, let's hear from anyone about any "fast loading" software product, be it disk cartrage or EPROM, that they have gripes or raves about.
