Subject : Amiga OS in RAM
In *what* RAM is the OS in ? I remember having read in a previous
article there would be *extra* RAM for the OS. Or is the OS placed
in the few 256K one has ?
It is said the RAM containing the OS is write protected, I can't
imagine Commodore fiddling in the address decode to protect anything
smaller than a memory bank so I don't think the OS can be in the
standard 256K.
Does any one *really know* ?
I really would appreciate if someone would take the time to answer
the above question. Please either post to the news or send me mail.
