The October issue of Compute!s Gazette indicates that the elusive
(and in some quarters, apocryphal) "Save-with-replace" bug has FINALLY
been found and that a forthcoming issue of Compute! magazine will
contain details.
Probably to no one's surprise, it is related to leaving off the drive
specifier "0:" on commands, and shows up when the 1541 fails to update
the BAM to show the allocation of the new version. The next SAVE will
certainly use the same blocks, overwriting the saved-with-replace file.
