[net.micro.cbm] KERMIT64

kev@voder.UUCP (Kevin Hoskins) (10/02/85)

Having recently purchased a modem to use with my 64, I would like to
request copies of all the programs that make up Kermit64.

I had made this request in the past, but lost the files from my
mail directory. Please understand.

I did make a copy of the names of the files that are included in
Kermit64. They are:

     - C64LBT.BAS - Initial bootstrap program to load C64DXL

     - C64LBT.FOR - FORTRAN program at mainframe to talk to C64LBT.BAS

     - C64DXL.BAS - Hex disk file loader in BASIC

     - C64DXL.HEX - Assembled version of Disk Hex load program

     - C64DXL.M65 - Source of program to load KERMIT-65 from C64 diskette

     - C64KER.BIN - Assembled version of KERMIT-65 (8-bit binary object code)

     - C64KER.HEX - Assembled version of KERMIT-65

     - C64KER.M65 - Cross assembler source for KERMIT-65

     - CROSS.MAC - CROSS Microprocessor Assembler (Source)

     - CROSS.EXE - CROSS Microprocessor Assembler (Object)

These file names are from the KERMIT-65 USERS GUIDE, C64 Version 1.2.
It was complied by Eric Lavitsky, 27 December 1984. If there has been
an update to the USERS GUIDE or to the software please forward them to me.

The modem I purchased is the Master Modem from Video-7. It comes with
terminal software from Midwest Micro that is quite good for BBSs and
Compuserve, but does not behave well with the VAX at work, thus the request
for KERMIT64. Also included is an Intropak from Compuserve.

The modem is an auto-dial, auto-answer, re-dial if no answer (function
of the software), and the manual is well written. Price is about $50, retail.

Thanks very much in advance. I'll be looking in my email box each day
for the much needed programs.
