[net.micro.cbm] Epyx's - IMPOSSIBLE MISSION appears to be so

dwl10@amdahl.UUCP (Dave Lowrey) (10/21/85)

HELP!
I have been playing Epyx's Impossible Mission game off and on for last
couple of months. I am lucky if I can get two puzzles solved!

I have been calling the computer to orient all pieces correctly, and this
does cost some time, but the main problem is those #$@%&* robots.
The manual claims you can detect wether or not they have 'sight' and if
they will 'zap' you, but they all look the same to me.

I would appreciate any hints you have on playing the game. I would also
like to know if anyone has ever won the game.

I guess it would be best to use mail. If interest warrents, I will post
the usual summary to the net.

Glad to see some one else playing the game.

Its one of my personal favorites. However once you win all
 the challenge is gone.

I call I can say is practice makes perfect.

I played the game with no manual and had to figure everything
out by trying. The pieces have to be the same color before the
will fit. You have to orientate the puzzle once you have it
solved then you get a password piece "alligator",or "crocidle".

It sure is fun to see the mad scientist at the end.

The games takes a long long time to get good then when you win
you can count on playing it a couple.
