I am president of a users group (the Loudoun 'Commodire' Users
Group) in Loudoun County, Virginia. I am recruiting associate
members for our club, and/or if you are amenable, would like your
permission to post your net articles (!including any and all
	disclaimers!) to our club's newsletter.

Associate memberships are $12.00 for a year and basically get you:

A copy of our newsletter (we try to publish once monthly).

Access to TONS of public domain software for $6.00
		a disk.

A finders service for hardware and software at the
		lowest possible prices.

Please let me know you feelings about my using your articles in
the club's newsletter whether you are/are not interested in joining.
I would very much appreciate your using my club as a forum to spread
your own opinions, observations, and the like. It is available as
such if you want to use it in addition to the net.

What prompted me to write this article was the recent discussion
on the Comal language. I have recently acquired a very good disk
which includes the language and an excellent step by step tutorial
for the compleat idiot (like me). This disk is available from the
club library for 10.00 (the cost of the disk, postage, and a fee
for the software librarians services - the material on the disk
is 'free') for non-members, or 6.00 for associate members.

I must say that I was tickled s---less to find a Commodore group on
the net. It's very frustrating to me working here in a development
shop where EVERYONE looks down thier noses at 'You mean, you use a
Commodore 64? Isn't that just a toy?' my poor old maligned C64.
What a refreshing change! I'm very glad to see other folks using
a CHEAP computer for learning C, PROMAL, BASIC, PASCAL, LOGO, COMAL,
etc. (all of which I dabble in). I personally kind of feel that
using my 600.00 complete system to improve my job skills was the much
more intelligent choice over spending 2 - 3000.00 to do the same,
	don't you?

	Your friend and mine,

	Bubba (Mongo Mauler) Pearson
