I have just recently purchased a C64 system with two 1541 drives. After using the software method of changing the second drives device number, I know that I need to go in and make the hardware wiring change so the drive is permanently numbered "9". The problem is, I can't find any books or people around here that can give me the instructions on how to make the change. If there is someone on the net who has either made the change or can refer me to some documentation that can tell me how to do it, please reply by E-Mail. (Please don't tell me to look in the owners manual for the 1541-the info contained in there is totally confusing!!) Thanks in advance for any help.
